At recent shows, I've been setting up with tools and wire to be a real-time maker and perform repairs on the spot. I'm shown here with stones and beads that I make available for kids (and adults!) to choose from. After someone chooses beads, I demonstrate the technique for making beaded links as part of a beaded zipper pull / clip. I also make wire-wrapped rings with craft wire to give away, and sometimes ear cuffs for those without pierced ears!
Sunday in the Park at Oakland Cemetery is one of my favorite events of the year...filled with people dressed in Victorian garb, good music on nearby stages, and gorgeous Fall days. In 2014, it was a special event for me because my Mom was visiting and got to see my full booth setup for the first time. She also helped promote my jewelry and had fun watching the festival-goers.
