Antiqued Copper Spiral Earrings Hammered Texture - Hypo Earwires

Divine copper swirls: These swirly earrings are open spirals that I hand-shape from copper, then hammer for texture and tumble for polish and strength. A liver of sulfur solution is used to heavily antique the spirals, then I buff off the antiquing to leave the high spots brighter. As a last step, two coats of jewellers wax is hand-rubbed to help protect the finish. In consideration for those with allergies, I finish the earrings on hypo-allergenic Niobium earwires in a matching dark bronze color.

These earrings are available in 3 size options with similar design and identical earwires. The difference is in the total length from the top of the earwire and width of the spiral, and the small pair is from a slightly lighter gauge wire.

Medium (shown) - total length 1-3/4” including earwire, approx 1” wide

Large - total length 2-1/4” including earwires
