Burl Wood Sterling Silver Spinner Ring - handmade sz 12

A unique handmade ring made by two very different materials, a collaboration by two artists. I envisioned a wood-on-metal spinner a while back, and my talented brother delivered with a stabilized Brown Mallee Burl hand-turned ring. I created an underlying band from .935 Argentium silver, hammered a bit to create a unique finish, worked the flare on each side to capture the wood, and applied a little texturing magic around the edges. The finished ring is just under 9mm wide.

This is a ring that works beautifully for a man or woman.

NOTE: Although the wood is stabilized, please do not wear this ring during rough work, when using chemicals, or when washing your hands with harsh soap. There is inherent risk in wearing wood jewelry that undergoes wear and tear. I cannot warranty this ring but if you have any issue within the 1st year of wear, contact me and I will attempt repair.
