Hammered Small Circle Silver Dangle Earrings

Asymmetrical Silver Sparkle: Fine silver (99.9%) starts soft and is wonderful for taking texture and shaping. For these earrings, I fuse three sizes of circles and hand-hammer to create many surface that reflect light. One earring has the circles cascading from small to large, and the other has the opposite with the large circle on top dangling to the small circle on the bottom. Although compared to one another the earrings are asymmetrical, within each one there is nice balance and a lot of character. The circular tarnish-resistant Argentium sterling silver french hooks have a small ball I formed with a torch. All elements of the earrings have a nice long tumble for polish/strength and are connected with handmade tarnish-resistant sterling silver rings. The largest hammered circle is 7/16" in diameter (approx. 11 mm). Overall earring length is a little over 1-1/2" from the top of the handmade earwire.
