Matte Cherry Red Recycled Glass Sterling Silver Drop Earrings

These luscious red recycled glass earrings include elegant sweeps of silver going up the beads. The producer tumbles these glass beads to look like seaglass, which gives them an interesting almost porous matte appearance, though they are very sturdy and this red almost glows. The dangles are polished and finished on my handmade sterling silver earwires. All metal is .935 tarnish-resistant Argentium silver. These bright earrings come in at 2-1/2” including the earwire.

Backstory: When I first found these recycled glass beads in various shapes and colors, I was instantly in love. At one point they became very hard to find in stock, and I wrote the supplier (Lima Beads) to ask about them. The owner himself wrote back saying that the manufacturing plant was being retrofitted to be fully emission-free and that the beads would soon be back in stock. I’ve purchased them ever since and felt great about it.
