Sterling Silver Bypass Ring - Balls and Curls Mixed Smooth & Hammered MADE TO ORDER

This shining ring is made by hand from tarnish-resistant sterling silver 14-gauge wire (93.5% pure). I form balls using a torch, shape the ring to size and then create the opposing curls. To add texture, I hammer only a portion of the curves. This creates a mix of hammered and smooth silver.

After completion, I sand the ring by hand then it takes a nice long tumble in stainless steel shot to add strength and high polish. The bypass section is a bit more than 1/2" across (depth of the ring). I make this ring to order for whole and half sizes between 4 and 12, though I do make common sizes ahead. Please allow up to 10 calendar days after payment for me to fabricate and ship your ring. (Use the Contact page to inquire about sizes larger than 12.)

Inspiration/Story Behind This Product

I've always liked adjustable rings, but they are usually costume jewelry rather than fine jewelry. I did some experimenting to arrive at this version that reflects some nice metalwork while still being sturdy to wear and affordable to buy.
