Sterling Silver Spiral Post Stud Earrings - Handmade to Order

I created these larger spiral post earrings in response to a customer request to upsize the petite spiral posts. I form each spiral from sterling silver wire using pliers (and years of practice), then solder to maintain its shape. A sterling silver post with three “catch” points—my favorite style of friction post—is securely soldered to the back of each spiral. These earrings fit flush to the ear and are comfortable for everyday wear.

After creating the earrings, I file, sand, and then tumble with stainless steel shot for several hours to add strength and polish. They are held with medium-weight sterling silver clutch backs at a larger 7mm width, which balances the spiral nicely for a more secure hold. The tarnish-resistant .935 Argentium sterling silver helps keep the spirals bright. The earrings are 3/8” across.
